Been absent for a bit, haven't I... Update from last post: my adoption paperwork went through and I now have the loveliest little rescue dog you could ever want.  She's a 50lb cuddle monster and the perfect companion for those cold North Dakota winters.  Between her and the boyfriend, the winter is looking a bit brighter than last year! Anyways, had a wonderful Thanksgiving with my boyfriend and our little gang of friends.  There's enough leftovers in the fridge to feed the base populace, and the dog has had so much turkey she's started snubbing her dog chow. Moved again, this time to the Dakota territories.  Hate it here quite a lot, actually.  The weather is terribly cold, the people are miserable, and the leadership uses and abuses us.  Don't really like being single here either.  The past two weeks alone I've been pinned to a wall in a bar, been plied with alcohol on two different occasion - and by two different guys - so they could try to sleep with me, been repeatedly asked out over the work conference line, and generally just creeped on.  What makes all of this infinity worse is how much I want to be back in Virginia, especially now that my mother is sick.  Of course, I can't leave - I'm wo

Update time. In the past half a year or so since I posted a journal, I've graduated university, moved out of my parent's house and started working. Posting some new images now that my household goods have finally arrived and I'm settled in my apartment.  For those who didn't know, I just moved from the sunny, warm beaches of Virginia to the cold, foggy beaches of California.  Literally coast-to-coast. I have a new job too, and it is challenging, though more mentally than physically.  I'm still training for my yearly half-marathon adventure in Ohio, provided the big boss signs off on that I can go.
